Thanks, Domi, that is helpful to know. And, sure enough, I notice it now... 23 GB of 71 GB consumed. There is nothing on the actual Shoutcast RMO showing how much storage you may have available or left. But, I was able to import a 2,238 song station over with no warnings or problems, though, so take...

It is true... you can have unlimited stations for that same $14.95/mo. But, there was apparently a clerical error of some kind (in the producer's favor). You can have the same 3000 song storage per station over at Shoutcast when you migrate the stations over (only when you migrate from Radionomy). D...

The migration is completely seamless. However, anyone that is listening to any of your stations may get dumped for about a minute and then people will be able to reconnect again. All the Radionomy links work properly once again. If you don't have the popup, then your account perhaps wasn't properly ...

You shouldn't need a credit card. I did this and was never prompted for any payment information. You might get better results in the "Shoutcast For Business and Monetisation" subforum. Sign up at forums.shoutcast.com and inquire there. Reach out to the staff member "DJ Egg". Domi...

That is one of my possible plans. This would also allow for the soliciting of operational donations and it tends to attract independent/community-oriented artists and talent as well (playing these artists would further reduce the potential royalty expenses). I have worked for and volunteered for oth...

There is nothing on the actual Shoutcast RMO showing how much storage you may have available or left. But, I was able to import a 2,238 song station over with no warnings or problems, though, so take that at face value. The migration page says ... up to 5GB of storage. All our streams are over that....

Is there any info as to whether the Shoutcast platform stations are carried on TuneIn? As TuneIn evolves to a self-curated platform much like iTunes, no NEW station from any provider will be accepted. You can only UPDATE existing listings. If you have any "legacy" listings from making 130...

Do listeners see any change after the migration to Shoutcast? There is little, if any change, to the listener experience. All previous connections will work properly: your Radionomy exportable players, if you are using them, will continue to work. The listen.radionomy.com/yourradio works as well. W...

My stations are at least that successful too, so I am hoping the monetization works and then I'd be able to cover these licensing fees and shoutcast fees. Based on some forum items at http://forums.winamp.com/forumdisplay.php?f=180 , one may have to wait 5 or 6 months for payment, though, but it doe...

Yes, you do. There's a grace period during the transition (an exemption for testing and proof of concept) but if you go too long without paying, someone will eventually notice. You would then likely initially get a cease and desist order demanding shutdown of your radio station on a timely basis, un...
