I'm still out there with one radio station instead of three-to-five and just recently quit fully using Shoutcast (although I'm still using a lower level of service there as a 'reflector' to Torontocast). Regarding Torontocast: Until or unless other performing rights organizations (especially US-base...

I don't come in here as often as I used to, either.

But, from one old broadcaster to another (but, yes, you still win the award)... happy birthday!

This is probably the last message I'll ever submit here. I've moved on to another site and drastically cut things down in the meantime...

I believe this is possible via https://radiomanager.shoutcast.com/register/serverSoftwareFreemium - you sign up, enter your existing streaming address (it can be from any provider or your own self-hosted server) and it will then show up in the Shoutcast directory. Yes... much appreciated, Domi. Is t...

The recent history of Radionomy is summed like this: 2014 - Radionomy Group has acquired Shoutcast, WinAmp, and Targetspot to help further solidify a radio services company. 2015 - Vivendi (entertainment company) takes a 64% ownership stake in the company (other stakes include AOL and venture capita...

For a cellular device, I would suggest downloading and installing the TunnelBear VPN - it will make all internet transmissions from a mobile phone appear to come from a list of other countries. Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with TunnelBear, I've just observed it works the most seamlessly with an...

He means to use a VPN software (like TunnelBear) or VPN browser (like Opera) and make it pretend you are coming from somewhere other than the US, like the UK.

Yes, you would lose your place if you migrated over to anything else. iTunes is no longer accepting new stations, modifications, or for that matter, even requests for deletion. It is likely just going to die on the vine and/or suddenly disappear at some point... perhaps (conjecture) this fall when t...

I present to you a "pro tip": If you are planning to utilize another non-related service, or are just planning on "throwing in the towel", you should first migrate your station(s) to Shoutcast anyway. Once migrated, you can choose to delete the station. Unlike deleting a station ...

Thanks, Domi, that is helpful to know. And, sure enough, I notice it now... 23 GB of 71 GB consumed. There is nothing on the actual Shoutcast RMO showing how much storage you may have available or left. But, I was able to import a 2,238 song station over with no warnings or problems, though, so take...

It is true... you can have unlimited stations for that same $14.95/mo. But, there was apparently a clerical error of some kind (in the producer's favor). You can have the same 3000 song storage per station over at Shoutcast when you migrate the stations over (only when you migrate from Radionomy). D...
