One reason I've lurked around here without a station is to see this final birthday greeting from Radionomy.
(I think there's a good chance I'm the oldest broadcaster/ex-broadcaster here).

Hello everyone, what do you think about TorontoCast supposedly covers rights all over the world and they are cheap prices. I tried Torontocast for a few months. It's OK, but difficult to program. And Trontocast has no station directory; you have to put your station on the usual third party director...

I think you're seeing/hearing Shoutcast stations that have migrated but are still listed in the Radionomy directory.
All their play links go to Shoutcast.
