I moved my station to Live365 back in April and deleted my Radionomy landing page at that time, but the stream URL associated with my station remained active but airing one of Radionomy's chill stations over it. So many websites have indexed my station info and former stream URL that now I have hund...

No surprise there. I moved my station to Live365. It is $59/mo and includes your hosting AND music licensing. If you'd rather do a live stream or use another server to originate your stream, you have the option to do so at no additional cost from Live365. In addition, your station can be added to th...

AMEN to that! I doubt Radionomy will, however, bc those stream URLs can still redirect to their own streams. The way Radionony probably looks at it...those dead and now redirected listen URLs can be heard by listeners who, in turn, are still exposed to the bi-hourly advertisements. Radionomy could c...

What happens to those stations who moved to Shoutcast but still have their original landing pages on Radionomy's URLs (radionomy.com and playtheradio.com)? Will those links convert to shoutcast links or just go dead at that point? For example: will http://www.radionomy.com/en/radio/*station-name*/in...

but copyrights are not taken into account and for a radio at 128kps the price is 4.99usd Their web page says, "Our affordable service to you includes music licensing coverage. Be a legal operator of internet radio. Stream legally-acquired music with broadcast permission." Looks a lot like...

Having same issue here. I dropped my station on Radionomy and moved it to another server which uses shoutcast software. Been trying to create an authhashtag to list my station within the shoutcast directory. I created a new shoutcast account and received the email to activate it. I go into create t...

Is there any info as to whether the Shoutcast platform stations are carried on TuneIn? TuneIn quit accepting applications for new stations, as of a few months ago. If you have a current listing, even if it's dormant, you can update it. Otherwise, no new station listings are being taken. If there is...

It is the Republicans. Those guys will never side with the little internet radio stations. Yeah, because it's so much easier to blame someone else than taking up some responsibility and acting for yourself to foster change. I don't really care if it's the democrats OR the republicans opposing inter...

These kinds of restrictions are nothing new and are only going to increase over time, no thanks to the US CRB ruling and the elimination of the Small Webcaster Agreement in January of last year. The costs of music licensing has skyrocketed since then for Radionomy and other internet-based radio stat...
