Joe, if there is no planning for a station, Radionomy fills the stream with some other station. After a while, for lack of listeners, it will be deleted.

Jimmyj - Yes it's a problem if they check the stream and nothing's there. Honestly you should keep one device always playing your station, to monitor your own program and make sure it doesn't go dormant. When there are zero listeners, the stream stops and can take 30 seconds or so to "wake up&q...

Good points, Sloane. For SciFiRadio's mix of "film score and short dialog clips," I would suggest at least putting the music and dialog in separate boxes, then alternate them or have them play one every third music track, or something like that. Otherwise you'll get back-to-back dialog cli...

Elmbury, would you have to start the new station and copy the tracks BEFORE you hit the 9-month mark? Because if you don't have 130TLH as of that date, your account will be deleted and then it's too late? I was under the impression your entire account and all its files would be deleted and you'd hav...

I'm just guessing here, but - It may be that the advert is starting at the "mix point" on your tracks. Radionomy by default crossfades tracks by a couple of seconds. Depending on the song, that can sound good - or not! There is a way to change the setting that I haven't bothered to explore...

The intro is something you recorded? Is it possible it has six seconds of silence at the end of the track?

OK thanks Domi. It looks like there was a system crash on my end, so I guess the connection didn't close correctly. I hoped RMO would pick up before long if it detected dead air.

I'm now broadcasting live most of the time and things have been going smoothly. When I have stopped the live feed, my broadcast usually has transitioned smoothly to my Planning in the RMO. But tonight my feed to Radionomy was interrupted, the RMO did not start up, and instead my radio had dead air f...

Hi Mandarin,
I noticed the ads started as soon as my station hit the 12 TLH/day average, so I think it does mark a (minor) milestone. Obviously the 130-hour level by 9 months is the much harder mark to reach.

Hi RCBTest, I'm also regularly replacing songs on my station. I anticipated there could be a problem if I delete songs while they are still in my Planning for the current day. So I've made multiple boxes for each of my styles of music. So just as an example, say one of my categories is 90s Rock, and...
