What is going on with the increase in adverts in the USA?

We are a Pagan radio station, so that means honouring nature, the Earth etc. Why then are adverts for BA being played in our stream?

This is a comment we have had from a listener today about it:

I’ve been a listener for a good many years now, but I’m concerned by the mass of nasty adverts that have appeared over the last few days. BA? Is this really the sort of organisation that we want to hear touting its polluting mercenary evil on a Pagan station? A) You’re a religious station, and B) You’re subscription supported. Ads for Pagan groups, gigs, moots, etc yes, but capitalist pollution mongers? Surely not our Wyldwood. Is this something that’s going forward from here? If so, I fear its not just my household that’s going to be saying a tearful goodbye to old friends.

Thank you for your time,

Blessed Be,

You need to stop inserting unsuitable adverts into the streams or allow us to at least know what is playing and when in terms of advertising.

From a fellow producer, I understand your concerns. But it is the Adverts that pay the bills for our stations. We don't get to choose what adverts are in Radionomy's rotation. The only choice we as Producers really have is to accept this platform we signed on to use or move to somewhere/something else. Radionomy is not going to customize advertising for each individual station/Producer. We all accept this limitations of the product/service we choose to use.

It is up to you to decide.
