Hello

Thank you for contacting us regarding this issue. We have no plans to re-enable Radionomy streams in our directory at this time.

Hello,

I have a quick question regarding this. We gathered a large listener base via TuneIn and would love to continue using it.
If and when Radionomy / Vivendi resolves the royalties / legal issues, will the Radionomy sourced streams be re-enabled moving forward?

Thanks again for your replies and assistance.

Hello,

As you may have read in the news, Radionomy, Inc. has been sued by Sony Music and a number of its record labels for, among other things, failing to obtain, comply with and/or pay royalties under the necessary licenses to make digital audio transmissions of sound recordings.

Scores of stations hosted and transmitted by Radionomy and listed in the TuneIn directory have also been the subject of notifications of claimed infringement sent to TuneIn by Sony Music.

Out of an abundance of caution and pursuant to the TuneIn End User License Agreement and Terms of Service, TuneIn has decided to unilaterally remove or disable access to all stations that appear to TuneIn to be hosted by Radionomy.

Doesn't look like TuneIn is going re-enable our streams anytime soon.. even if RN fixes its legal and royalty payment issues.

The response doesn't really answer the question. They have no plans to add Radionomy stations "at this time." But the question was, would they do so if all the legal issues were resolved?

I would say that question remains unanswered, because TuneIn doesn't want to speculate.

I tend to agree.. they purposely avoiding a direct answer..maybe they can't answer.. or won't so they have some recourse. later.. who knows.. All I know is I can't use them right now and want to.
