Dear community,

Do you know of a playlist generator software (preferably for Mac/Linux) which can generate a random playlist that respects constraints inclusive of those employed by RMO?

Namely the software should be able to follow a predefined RMO-like clock scheme according to which it randomly picks songs from different folders while making sure that "no more than 3 musical pieces from the same album are picked within a 3 hours period", "no more than 4 musical pieces by the same featured artist are picked within a 3 hours period" etc., as well as have the capability to schedule ad injections at the required intervals etc. Bonus would be if it came with a customizable "similarity algorithm" that strives towards picking similar and/or dissimilar songs in succession.

The ultimate goal would be to use this software to generate a playlist for live broadcast that respects all rules required by Radionomy (as well as some other custom rules) from my own computer.

Thanks!

Thank you! On the basis of the feature list the $269 pro version does indeed seem to be able to do the job, but it is windows-only and the price tag is a bit hefty.. Maybe someone else has a better suggestion?
