Hi,

A feature to allow users to request songs in real time would be nice! For example, users pick songs which they want to play and they are qued up. I know you have restrictions as to how many times an artist/album can be played within a certain amount of time, but if you programme it right this can be omitted.

Hope this gets passed on!

Thanks,
--Chris.

Hi broadcasters,

It's a good idea, sure.

I did it before. It's easy to do it by self.
Here what I used to do last time:

1. Request incoming from: twitter, email, direct message/phone, etc.
2. Check the request song/s if it/they available on my song collections or play-lists on Radionomy.
3. Availability:
a. Yes --> upload to play list or Audio Box --> update Clock --> update Day Template -->
update/generate Planning (only that day/s the song/s will be played).
b. No --> find other alternatives (i.e. ask requester if they have the song, share with the managers/others).
It's good to have some contact artists/song writers who will share their songs with me or radio listeners.

Off course, it's take time to do that. But, it's OK if you able to provide min 2 hours/day to pay attention for such request and other things to do for the radio.

Have a nice broadcast and wider the audiences,
Agus
