Hi there! It's been a huge blow to know about the (no) future. We've been up and running for almost 5 years and I honestly think that the result is amazing. But let's get to work and see if there's a way to make this work.

The main ISSUE, with capital letters, to consider right now is MONEY. Radionomy is offering us one year for free but we'll have to face the bigger cost: copyright payments.

I guess we could try to take advantage of Jamendo's songs in order to thinner the bill but we need to know if Jamendo tracks are gonne be available as they still do in Radionomy or if we'll have to download the songs from Jamendo and then upload them to Shoutcast.

I also understand that if we don't want to face copyright costs we'll have to delete all the songs we have in "My files" that are not free or our own productions. Can anyone tell me if I'm wrong?

Thank you in advance.

Good luck to all producers!!!! Keep on fighting!

I think all files are lost with the close down of RN. The RMO won't work anymore.
So the files you're gonne play on Shoutcast should be on your pc or another streaming service.

Ofcourse your own productions and free music can be played

I don't agree because in case they're doing this the same way they did when radiostations based on USA had to migrate to Shoutcast, Domi told them that they'll had 70GB during the first free year and then the payment for the Shoutcast service would include 5GB, amount that could be increased paying more. If they are offering you that amount of room I guess is to accomodate your files in case you use the planner (which is our radiostation's case).

This was the message:
Domi wrote:
First, keep in mind that if you migrate your station to Shoutcast for Business, you get a free one-year subscription including the audio storage up to 70 GB.

Then, after one year, Shoutcast for Business hosting prices depend on the total listening hours of all the stations hosted on Shoutcast under the same plan (user account):

Up to:
2,500 TLH 14.90 USD/month
10,000 TLH 24.90 USD /month
25,000 TLH 39.90 USD/month
50,000 TLH 59.90 USD/month
100,000 TLH 99.90 USD/month
250,000 TLH 199.90 USD/month
500,000 TLH 349.90 USD/month

Your plan is automatically adjusted to your past consumption, so the broadcaster pays for his real audience.

There is 5 GB included in all plans for 0 USD/month
The extra storage costs 3 USD/month per 3 additional GB
.

With this in mind, I honestly think that they migrate your files. So, do we have to delete those files which are not our own productions or songs without copyright cost?

Thank you!

Have a nice day,

Could anybody who has migrated from Radionomy to Shoutcast tell us if your files are migrated from one platform to the other?

Thank you very much!

Have a nice day!

They do. Shoutcast is very similar to Radionomy in a lot of ways. STATS and PLANNING are pretty much the same, if I remember correctly

Hi,
Please do you know where I can listen to a radio which used to be called Air-Lounge Radio on RADIONOMY.com? Online during 2010-2015-...
"CHILL-OUT-RADIO-FOR-DAYDREAMING-LOVERS"
Used to be http://listen.radionomy.com/air-lounge-radio.m3u = where the music is a little bit different now.
Probably 1 Radio Lounge today? https://www.radionomy.com/en/radio/1radiolounge
Or Lounge Radio on Jamendo.com? https://www.jamendo.com/playlist/97970/lounge-radio
Thanks!
