Well it has been a trip. I have to say, having run a number of businesses for others and those I have started for myself, RMO is certainly ho hum about doing business and coordinating with its partners.

When I say "Goodbye. . . sort of", I mean I will leave my station here until Radionomy finally loses enough of my listeners and I fall below the 130 mark. I feel sad for producers trying to start out here. They have little likelihood of success since their available audience is so narrow. There are more countries one can't reach than one can, and of course RMO has little interest in its producers. Right now I am still doing over 500 hours/day average here at RMO, but the kicks just keep getting harder to find and the handwriting is on the wall.Either my station or RMO or both will fail shortly After a month and a half with another service it is so pleasurable to have my titles and authors remain intact, to broadcast in all countries including the US. to have my stream usable anywhere in any app, have no restraints on how many customers I must maintain (though I am doing quite well with the expanded market). to never have to listen to jamendo, to broadcast ad free until and if I wish to run ads in the future, and all for only $105 for a year and broadcasting software provided. I have gotten very favorable feedback from listeners I have switched over from RMO.

The down side? Well there are so many Radionomy broadcasters coming over they do have growing pains, which they address in a professional and caring manner. One nice thing about Radionomy - their servers never crash but I can say about my new service, the down times have been negligible but have happend. The nice thing is that their technicians ALWAYS reply and respond. OH., and they provide the licensing, so I haven't had to pick up that headache

I have enjoyed the exchanges with other producers here, positive and negative. I wish you all good luck in your endeavors, wherever they may take you. I will be a bit like a bad penny, and hang around showing up occasionally until the transition has fully run its course. In the meantime, feel free to come visit my station at http://www.TheBluesCove.com. My new stream is played and listed there.

Ciao ya'all.
John

I give my fond farewell and my logo leaves me. . How sad is that!
