We all know that we have legally acquire all the songs we upload to radionomy. What we don't know is that radionomy is using this to give to US the responsibility for the copyright.
Here's a small piece of the last document filed from radionomy at sony's lawsuit
"In the context of contractual relations between Radionomy and their users, the USERS give Radionomy explicit authorization to reproduce and communicate the content they have proposed to the public via Internet in the entire world, without limitation in time. Users are entirely and exclusively liable for the content of their contribution(s) and the consequences of its being broadcast on the Site. On this subject, Radionomy has the role of a technical intermediary and host only. The USERS have contractually guaranteed Radionomy that they own all the rights and have all necessary authorizations for reproduction and communication to the public on the Site, as concerns COPYRIGHT, related rights, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS, use rights, and in a general way THEY GUARANTEE RADIONOMY against any third-party action."

I think a response from radionomy would be now much appreciated as this goes against what Domi said last week...

That's scary. Is the complete text of this document online somewhere?

After looking at "Exhibit A" that Radionomy submitted, it appears to be a screen shot of their websites terms of use dated May 13,2016, after they uploaded the new version that puts the burden on the producers to have the broadcast rights that they posted in a 3 year old thread.

They're using a document updated after the lawsuit was brought that most of us producers weren't operating under at the time the lawsuit occurred.

Um, isn't this the exact opposite of the agreement I entered into with Radionomy? Radionomy was adamant that THEY covered all obligations and any third party actions should be referred to THEM for resolution because it was not our responsibility.

Although it's great to see this posted - I would suggest it would be better in "Off Topic" rather than "Technical Support".

In case the crap hits the fan I took a screenshot from Radionomy's website claiming they cover music licensing. Their quote: "We have got you covered. We cover all the music licensing necessary to stream online. You just program the music and content you love."

"Technical Support" is the only forum that can be accessed only by Producers. "Off Topic" can be seen and read by listeners and anyone else in the world.

Exactly. I wish certain people here would stop acting like moderators when they're not. lol

Yeah - trying to create order out of chaos wasn't popular when the universe was created either. ;)
