I'm pretty worried now that it looks pretty dark. I've been using Radionomy for my station since about 2014, and the recent stack of geoblocks & regulations have made the future look grim for us. I REALLY hope this isn't the doomsday we've all had in the back of our minds because, well.. what then!? All that promotion, advertising, and community building for this? We can't exactly go elsewhere since other services cost like $200 a month + a ton of paperwork. My listeners are going nuts right now, and there's not much I can tell them.

Here's hoping this all works out :(

I can't believe that they haven't even said a single thing about the problem at hand. It takes a couple seconds to say "Hey, we are having a problem" or to give us the bad news that this is permanent. All we need is a quick post telling us what to expect Radionomy!!

In looking at the ongoing battle between StreamLicensing and ASCAP today, I think it looks pretty bad.

I tried that this morning (07/06) on my android phone and it worked! But this afternoon I got a system update from Samsung and had to re-install the Radionomy app. Now it doesn't work; just gets same same "Listen to this program...".

Currently in the process of uploading and setting up a demo station on radioking.com 7 day demo just to see how their stuff works. I used them for my listening app, which is now rendered useless. It's a pay site but it may just be worth it not to have so many issues

I love it when stream hosting sites don't address copyright or licensing issues in their descriptions up front, but instead bury the information that those rights are not covered deep within their terms page, like https://www.radioking.com/terms:

"The Client's attention is particularly drawn to the fact that the rights of distribution of Content (copyright and similar rights) are not included within the Offers proposed by ICREO.

It is, consequently, incumbent upon the Client to personally obtain said rights and authorisations."

I know, I found out after looking into it further, I cantg afford both the host fee and licensing fre. Plus the app fee no way. Probably just hang it up, or just use Mixcloud.com to make pre recorded playlists, they at least cover royalties, but it's still not the same

It's still on lockdown in the USA... Still a such a poor level of service that it defies any reasonable understanding. Still no response from those in power at Radionomy...... Still treating us with utter contempt........ Seems rather like the death rattle of radionomy.

On a separate note - if any of you have uploaded your own music (you own compositions / cover versions included) and radionomy have altered your name or title with their auto identifying system and you live in the UK, you may want to speak with the legal team at the PRS - a new legal case is being put together.
