We inform you that it is no longer possible to create your radio on Radionomy. Radionomy will stop its activities as of January 1, 2020.

Discover the Shoutcast solution.

I hope Radionomy understands, shuttering Radionomy will not completely exonerate them from another copyright violation.
This merger will cost Radionomy dearly, instead of making them more pure profit as intended.

The word producer still has the meaning, and Radionomy still earns most of the revenue collected from targetspot.

Perhaps another lawsuit from Sony should define who is responsible to pay the royalties.

Despite Radionomy claiming to be based in Belgium, but most of their revenue is earned in the United States, which changed their jurisdiction to the American courts in 2016. Radionomy, once had 50,000 streams, yet this number is declining every single month. One famous American Shoutcast producer who left them for Live365, was the True Oldies Channel.

Radionomy was decent, but what would you expect for something that was free. Unfortunately I will never pay Radionomy for their services, never will.
I have nothing positive to say about Radionomy, but how many of their own producers they threw under the bus, under the persumption of bigger profits.

Best Wishes
Simon

I think that only a small minority of stations will migrate to a platform that is even more broken than radionomy !

in total I had about 10,000 listening hours per month with my stations:

GROOVE FM => http://listen.radionomy.com/groove-fm.m3u
of via de website => http://www.GrooveFM.be
of naar LOVE-RADIO => http://listen.radionomy.com/loveradiofm.m3u
of via de website => http://www.LOVE-RADIO.FM
of naar Chillout FM = > http://listen.radionomy.com/chill-outfm.m3u
of via de website => http://www.chill-out.fm
of naar ChristmasFM => http://listen.radionomy.com/christmas-radio-fm.m3u
of via de website => http://www.CristmasFM.be

the first named station was among the examples in Belgium

because I am not going to migrate,
they will not have those stations for advertisements

A very bad decision to stop radionomy!

there will be far fewer stations to place ads on; and therefore much less revenue.
The fixed costs for the servers and staff are probably even higher than the revenues

Others open again for all doors that close!
Best musical wishes!

No surprise there.

I moved my station to Live365. It is $59/mo and includes your hosting AND music licensing. If you'd rather do a live stream or use another server to originate your stream, you have the option to do so at no additional cost from Live365. In addition, your station can be added to third-party mobile apps and you are not confined to using Live365's in-house apps, as was the case with the original Live365, pre-2016.

Live365 was doing a promotion for Radionomy stations wanting to move to Live365. They will give you the first month of service free. Not sure if the promo is still in effect, but I received it in my email a few weeks ago.
