Presumably we can ask this as radionomy is closing, Are there any alternatives to shoutcast. I’m not just going to move for the sake of it, we all have 39 days to decide. So I am exploring alternatives that take away the hassle of licensing. Are there anymore platforms worth exploring?

there are at least three alternatives, but from many point of views RN, even with all its problems, was on an upper floor; I don't know if mods will tolerate a discussion about alternatives, though...

I don’t see why the mods wouldn’t tolerate it, We are all leaving in a few weeks, surely they would like to see us all in a new happy home.

What are those alternatives

the best known is SonixCast, you pay a small fee and the channel gives you a RN-like streaming hosting, and pays rights; but: you must pretend to be a Canadian, you can't have a website, or giving any hints about your being in the UK; you just have fun to play your favourite tracks; furthermore, several rights' national agencies say that SonixCast is actually not authorized in their countries; as far as I know, usually producers survive without troubles, unless you live in Germany, where GEMA and GVL will soon understand that you are not in Canada and will contact you to have some thousands euro;
Live 365 is another known alternative, but it's very, very, very, expensive and doesn't make sense;
there was another Canadian provider, TorontoCast, a SonixCast clone, but visiting now the website it's not clear to me if they still offer a rights' covered streaming service;
for German people, a very good alternative is Laut FM - but the rights are paid for Germany only, and all blogs and helps are in German only; I don't know if they accept producers from outside Germany;
please note that all these and other providers pose strong limitations: usually you can not have your own app, you can't use players other than official players by the providers, and so on; quite frustrating;
along the years I have seen several other radio streaming (rights covered) service providers, but honestly I don't know if they are still active, I can retrieve the old links;
A.

I already received three emails through my direct address, proposing "Radionomy-like services"; beware, these services do not pay rights!

As far as I can tell, it still stands that you lose your radio name if you leave Radionomy, so if this is the case, and if you want to keep your name and listeners Shoutcast is the only option.
Any updates on this rule anyone?

why should I lose my name? not true; you lose your name if you don't reach the minimum 130 TLH's and RN closes you down - but it's in RN environment only;

Hello everyone,
but if we have to pay copyright rights
why subscribe to a platform? You have to pay for the streaming platform, submit to their constraints, pay copyright and grow
their business. Isn't it better to create a radio independent of all this?
