Hello All,

I knew the getting into this it would be a lot of work to achieve results. I put a lot of time and energy in to creating a successful radio station platform with Radionomy. I promoted streams to many other sites listing my station. Now after reading the producer pact it seems I may not make the cut and my station is in review to be cut. I have to say that it's a lot of work only to lose everything I have done. Now I have to go back and remove all of the link I posted to the Radionomy m3u link. So, Today I find out that the RMO is not working again. This is really frustrating as I have promoted Radionomy instead of my own station. I have to say that I am really frustrated. I mean sure the RMO looks great and it is relatively easy to program. I build a small audience of about 4 to maybe 20 listeners. Then the RMO stops working. I lose those users and start over again.

So here is is in a nutshell. Radionomy has used me to promote them. I believed at first that this would be a valuable tool for me. Well, it has lost it's usefulness. When I realized it was a lot of work and put my best foot forward to make progress my station suffers. So, I have to go and change all my links. I'm guessing close to 30 or so internet radio station listings. HOURS OF WORK. So, I am back to pushing my radio link away from Radionomy. I am starting tonight. Losing an audience every 24 - 48 hours is ridiculous. I did everything I could on a ZERO dollar budget. This has turned from fun for me to a disaster.

Well, Sorry for the rant. I have also watched the group policing and getting my threads and posts deleted. I read about the censoring going on as well. It's a shame because this seems like such a good idea. However, Time to move on. I decided that putting more effort into keeping things going here is going to continue wasting my time and losing my audience and fans. It looks like a great platform for sure. But it's not for me anymore. So now I am redirecting all of my links back to my shoutcast and icecast streams. I can't be wasting time on a Mikey Mouse toy. So I am abandoning my radio station here on Radionomy. Good luck your gonna need it.

I am sorry to hear that James, but it is understandable. Don't forget that for 3 months you only need to achieve 12 hours though. Hopefully the standards of radionomy can only improve in the future, when I joined 6 months ago it seemed reasonable for the first 3 months, and then headed downhill.
