Post subject:  Email from CEO of Radionomy

I know a lot of Producers do not get the newsletters or emails that Radionomy sends out so i thought it would be good to re-post it here for those you didn't get it /see it. For now I am not going to comment on the contents except to say it did make me give a wry smile and a raised eyebrow or two ....

Code:
message To Our Producers from the founder of Radionomy, Alexandre Saboundjian

Dear Producer,

First and foremost we want to thank you for being part of Radionomy.

With the launch of new RadioManager you may have encountered technical difficulties and challenges that impacted your radio station.

We apologize for the inconvenience and even though the majority of issues have been resolved: we are working diligently to continually improve the performance and experience of the new platform.

In addition to the new interface and design, the new RadioManager was a fundamental shift in how our tools and platform were configured.

These changes were necessary in order to offer you new features and capacities that have never been available before on any network of this size and reach. We are building many more opportunities that we will be unveiling in the coming months.

After spending over 18 months in development of the new platform, we were delighted to give you access to the new RadioManager in September 2014. At the same time we were deploying this new platform we also experienced unprecedented growth of the network pushing the platform beyond anything we had encountered in the past. We were challenged to keep up with both the number of new stations and especially a significant increase in audience. The combination of these two unexpected factors caused many of the performance issues that you might have encountered with the new RadioManager.

After more than 6 years at Radionomy, our motivation has never been greater to prove to everyone that the Internet will fundamentally change radio. Together we have just begun to give audiences exposure to the most dynamic and high quality audio programing anywhere. We are building the next frontier of this medium together, and the exponential growth of your audience proves this to us everyday.

I look forward to many more exciting announcements coming early 2015.

Thank you.

Alexandre Saboundjian

Thanks for posting that NBT.

Just checked both the account I signed up with (which I presume is the one you use) and the station's account. Looked in the spam filters and did a mail search and it is not there. I think this says more than the message about radionomy's processes.

yes i get every second newsletter, this one i did get however and i had many mixed feelings upon reading it, i read on the french forum that one of them has been here for over four years and this is first time he has addressed the producers personally, make of that what you will..but its a baby step in the right direction, it would be all too easy to pull his excuses apart bit by bit, (like maybe he shouldn't be telling producers to start up two maybe more extra radios when the servers are under strain.. just saying :P ) but for now i am happy that, finally he has at very least started to address the issues or actually admit, yes, things went wrong. that's a minor miracle and we get too few of those.

now lets follow this letter with a few weeks, months, heck even years, of stability please :)

I don't use a spam filter, last email I have received from Radionomy was over a year ago, when I passed my 3 month mark, since then, nothing.

Found that check box when the new RMO was launched and checked it and saved then. Just looked now, it was still checked, I saved it again....

Mine is ticked as well, and no emails. Thanks for looking into this - hopefully the new website will have a 'news' section or something similar.
