I'm considering Radionomy to set up a music player on my website. Does it include these features?

1. A website plugin that can display text which changes with the song being played (for bios, links to artists, etc).

2. The ability to shuffle songs, but with weighted rotation so that some are played more heavily than others.

Any info is appreciated!

1. There is a plugin/api showing when tracks change.
2. The randomiser in radiomony plays newly added tracks more - you can make a weighted rotation by composing 'boxes' of those you wish to play more than others.

Please see http://board.radionomy.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=568 for info and instructions for newcomers.

Does the player display bios though, or just song names?

You can see what the player includes by looking at the stations on the radionomy website.

Oh, thank you, I didn't realize there were functioning ones to look at, I'll check them out.

If you have difficulty finding one look for http://RADIONAME.playtheradio.com - the playtheradio websites provided for all station producers are no longer supported but you can see the player on it - e.g. http://j-popprojectradio.playtheradio.com/.
